Thousands of items of clothing and accessories from the hugely popular TV show Midsomer Murders will go on sale the weekend of 14-16 March 2014, at the Helen & Douglas House shop on Broadfield Retail Park, Aylesbury.
From fabulous designer wear to amazing theatrical and fancy dress; the racks and racks of men’s, women’s and children’s clothes and accessories, many worn by the actors and collected over years of the series, have been kindly donated to the hospice charity by the company behind the show, Bentley Productions.
A preview fashion show and sale will be held on the evening of Friday 14 March by invitation only and the clothes will be on sale to the general public on Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16 March from 9.30 to 17.00.
Jo Wright, Managing Director of Bentley Productions said; ‘We are delighted to be able to help Helen & Douglas House in this way. Many episodes of Midsomer Murders have been filmed in the villages around Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The hospice cares for young people and their families from this area, so it is a great charity for us to support.’
Lesley Gorton, Head of Retail, Helen & Douglas House, said; ‘This is a unique opportunity to purchase from the Midsomer Murders costume collection. It will appeal to Midsomer fans and anyone who likes quality clothes at bargain prices.’
