We've been absolutely delighted with the response to our door-to-door fundraising campaign - so far over 1,300 people have signed up to a monthly gift of around £10 which equates to around £130,000 for the charity. This amount could cover the cost of four nurses so that we can continue providing the one to one care so crucial to our families.
The crucial thing about regular giving is that we have a better idea of predicted income and that makes it easier for us to plan for the future.
Our friendly fundraisers wear a bright orange Helen & Douglas House tabard, and carry an ID card.
