Helen & Douglas House requires over £4 million a year to provide the one-to-one, 24 hour care that is so crucial to the children, young people and families who need our help. We receive very little from the Government and therefore rely heavily on voluntary contributions.

Donation options
Regular giving to Helen & Douglas House
Regular giving is very exciting for us as with reliable long-term financial support we are better able to plan for our future. Even a small amount like £5 a month is able to pay for a nurse for a day a year at Helen & Douglas House, once Gift Aid is included. Or it could provide a child with about three therapy sessions a year, such as music or fun in the Jacuzzi.

Our online donation facility for regular giving is run by Rapidata Services, which has grown to become the leading processor of Direct Debits in the UK for the charity sector and is a BACS approved bureau. For more information go www.rapidataservices.com
If you prefer you can download a Direct Debit form and fill it in by hand. If you can then send it to Helen & Douglas House we will forward it to Rapidata for processing. Again, your details will be treated completely securely.

By cheque
If you wish to make a donation by cheque it should be made payable to Helen & Douglas House and then sent to Helen & Douglas House, 14A Magdalen Road, Oxford, OX4 1RW. If you are happy for us to claim the Gift Aid please indicate this in your accompanying letter.
By telephone
We can also accept donations by credit card over the phone. Simply call our main number on 01865 794749.
Gift Aid
When making a donation you have the option to include Gift Aid, which allows charities to claim back the tax that has already been paid by sponsors as income or capital gains tax. This means that Helen & Douglas House gets an extra 28p for every pound donated by a UK tax payer.
