Richard Morgan died at Douglas House last year and his mother Lucy and his sister Rachel have done some amazing fundraising.
As well as raising �1,000 in memory of Richard through simple donations, Rachel Morgan also organised a Helen & Douglas House Dragon Boat in the annual Abingdon event. Mum Lucy was the drummer!
Four of the rowers were from the Douglas House Care Team who looked after Richard; other rowers included friends and colleagues from A Bartholomew Veterinary Surgery where she works.
Rachel said, �Richard always enjoyed going to the Dragon Boat racing in Abingdon and he also benefited from the barge trips organised by the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper. The race was an ideal opportunity to raise some money for both the Rotary and Helen & Douglas House as Richard benefited in so many ways from them.�
