Do you enjoy buying and selling online? If so, we're looking for someone to help us make the most of our eBay and Amazon sales and listings.
Supervision and Reporting
Ebay and Amazon volunteers are under the day-to-day supervision of the Assistant Retail Manager who will offer guidance and support.
The Voluntary Services Manager is responsible for ensuring support and supervision for all volunteers, and is available to offer advice and support to both volunteers and staff.
Expenses
Volunteers are entitled to claim travelling expenses.
Skills and Qualities Required
• Computer and internet literate
• Ability to write clear, concise and accurate English
• Ability to work on own initiative
• An eye for detail
• Ability to stay attentive even when carrying out routine tasks
Time Commitment
The e-bay account needs regular monitoring, in addition to the time spent listing and mailing the goods. The ideal person would be someone able to offer two or three hours, several times a week.
Tasks
• Write descriptions of items and books for listing on eBay & Amazon
• Photograph items and edit pictures
• Answer email questions from potential purchasers
• Pack and post sold items
