The Helen & Douglas House fundraising placement scheme offers an excellent opportunity to learn about fundraising and working for a charity.
Are you organised, outgoing and keen to learn? You could gain experience in a variety of areas, for example, representing the charity, giving talks, managing projects, working on the database, organise mailings, supporting community fundraisers and being part of the fundraising team.
We provide a flexible working environment where we will try to accommodate your requests for experience. Training on the job will be provided and there is access to sector information such as journals. This is a voluntary scheme; we provide lunch and will reimburse any expenses.
