We are delighted to have 15 spaces available for the world famous Virgin London Marathon 2018. Be part of this incredible event by applying for a place today!  


Applications are open now and will close in mid-October (once ballot places have been confirmed). Our places are FREE, however, you must raise a minimum of £2,500 for Helen & Douglas House.


The application process is competitive and we are oversubscribed every year, so ensure you stand out by telling us about your motivations and fundraising ideas. This is the world’s largest annual fundraising event and you can be part of it by applying today!


Once we have selected our team we will match successful applicants with a member of our Community Fundraising Team who will be able to provide expert advice and guidance through-out the fundraising journey. In addition to this our Events Team will assist with practical support from application, to race day.

Helen & Douglas House provide medical, emotional and practical support, helping families deal with the implications of living with a child who will die prematurely, so they can make the most of their time together.


We rely on voluntary donations for 88p in every £1 of the £5.5 million we need every year to run the service. Join in and make a difference!
