Wittfest

Wittfest is a free music festival raising money for local charities. All the money raised on the weekend goes to the selected charities and everybody involved gives their time (and raffle prizes!) for free. There is a wide range of musical genres on offer and plenty of opportunity to join in with all of the themed sessions throughout the festival weekend.

The festival starts on the Friday evening and runs until late Sunday afternoon. Admission if free, but programmes will be on sale, and we need people to buy lots of raffle tickets, badges, hats and shirts or simply give donations so we can support our chosen charities.

This year, the charities elected to receive our support are Helen & Douglas House and ABC Against Breast Cancer charities.

There is a children's play area and, being situated in the grounds of a riverside pub, loads of food and drink to hand! There will also be a 2nd hand bookstall, tombola, and Mrs Lomax's famous tea tent.
